Spring 2009
Spring is just around the corner--so close you can almost taste it!--and I am happy to welcome you all to a new issue of Joie de Vivre.
Allow me to apologize for the delay between issues. As is too often the case real life, with all its attendant frustrations and difficulties, made keeping to a regular schedule impossible in past months. Still, the long winter is (almost) over, bringing new hope (and pretty flowers, thank goodness!).
I am pleased to introduce new contributor Sara Bynoe, with a trilogy of works represented in this issue. Also deserving introduction are Carl Gladish and Amber Sweet, who slipped under the radar with poetry in the last issue but no introductions. I hope you will enjoy all that's on offer this time around, from all our contributors, new and old.
